I expected the black to match the standard grips, but this is more of a shiny black metal. This matches their other upgrades. The Allen key included in the box looks like it made a mark on the side during shipping. But it's not everyone's fault.
I just bought 2 of these and they arrived today. Installation was quick. Both took 5 minutes to expand. (I had a Glock Mag tool from the Glock store)
Man what a difference it makes for my Glock 42. I couldn't get a perfect grip with the original Glock mags. Installing the +2 mag attachment on the black now gives me full control. The gun feels very comfortable in the hand. Very good weapon handling and they look good.

Great product. However, the video showing how to install the extension should be edited. After trimming the tabs. Place the extension plate on the table and insert the plastic part so that the knob is in the hole. Compress the magazine spring and start sliding the magazine onto the base plate. It snaps right into place. I tried it several times as written in the video, but the insert plate slipped into the magazine and was almost impossible to separate. I had parts flying. Then I did it my way. Quick, easy, no flying parts and no problems with the insert plate.
I've been looking and these mag extensions are the best. Bigger, more powerful and will allow you to have a full hand on the G42 handle. A weapon without one of these is useless.
They come in colors, but the aluminum base with hose wrap looks and feels really good.
I just put these +1 on my G42 and I love how the gun grips with my little finger extended. A big improvement. And I don't mind carrying it in my pocket using the DeSantis pocket holster. It's a really good product, IMO. Thanks for that
